I've been coming to Einstein's bagels just about every Sunday or Saturday. I like the friendly environment, accuracy of my orders, and tasty food! The employees and customers are very friendly here. I've been approached by others customers, striking up a conversation, and the employees are always very good at greeting customers, and remembering things about them. Accuracy: I don't believe in many visits that they have ever messed up my orders. The employees seem to work very well together, get orders done quickly, and with accuracy. Overall, I like the small town feel of this location. I like the customers who patronize this location. I like the customer service, and the food is fantastic!

I have gotten a lox and bagel from here every few weeks since they first opened, but this will be the last time. They made it perfectly, exactly as I asked, with extra lox. When I brought the sandwich up to my mouth I could smell something funny. Since I quit smoking many years ago, it took me a few more bites to realize I was smelling and tasting tar and nicotine with every bite! I still smell and taste it! Why isn't the cook or whatever using gloves when they assemble the sandwiches? This is gross and ridiculous. PLEASE AKE YOUR PEOPLE WEAR GLOVES WHEN THEY HANDLE FOOD!!!!!

For a chain that I've mostly enjoyed over the years, I'll have to say that this particular establishment is disappointing. Plenty of staff (5-6), few customers, slow service. Asked and paid for double lox and received the sandwich with the normal amount. Wasn't asked what type of bagel I wanted or whether it should be toasted or not. All empty tables were dirty and the beverage area was a disaster. Their staff definitely needs re training at the very least.

Two more bad experiences in the last 2 days. My mother went in and it took Einstein's 10 minutes to give her change on a $10 bill. This morning, my father explicitly asked for no cheese on his breakfast sandwich and when he got home, sure enough, there was cheese on it. Clearly, this Einstein's has some serious work to do training its employees. This kind of incompetence reflects very poorly on management as well.

Saturday morning staff really has a hard time with getting orders out in time and was not prepared for rush. Usually this is managements fault. There were 10 cars deep in the drive through and it took 15 minutes for drive through and 10 minutrs for food. this is a common problem on weekend mornings.

Today will be the last time we eat here. Our last few visits have been pedestrian at best, but today the entire experience was awful. They were out of potato salad and fruit cups and neglected to tell anyone that when they ordered and there were at least 4 people who came back to the counter, including one from the drive through, to have them replace or fix their order in some way. How do I know this? Because I had to wait 30 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I received my food. Plenty of time to observe the staff struggling to fill basic orders and to neglect to tell customers they were out of select items at the time of ordering. Our visit was around 11am. Well past any breakfast rush. My Tasty Turkey was not tasty. One half of my bagel was soggy like it had been dropped in water, to the point that it was coming apart. The rest of the family's bagel sandwiches were haphazardly assembled, and not at all worth the wait. The only redeeming food item in our order was the bag of lays chips that came as a side because this store couldn't ruin a prepackaged bag of chips.

I have been eating at Einstein for a gazillion years. Way before they came to Castle Rock, in various locations around the country. This Einstein is hit or miss when it comes to getting orders correct, via the drive thru. But really, more miss than hit. Sometimes (albeit rarely) I get exactly what I ordered, most times it is WRONG. How hard is it to make a freaking bagel?????????? I keep coming back due to convenience and hoping that it will finally be a 'hit'. To the MANAGERS/OWNER: YOU NEED SOME QUALITY ASSURANCE - because your employees are not doing well and your output is less than 'ok'. TODAY (4/16/15), I ordered 2 cin/sugar toasted w/ butter. I got 2 plain, barely toasted, tons of butter and the tops were together and the bottoms were together. How does that happen??? THIS is why fast food workers should NOT get $15/hr!

Love that we finally have a real bagel shop in Castle Rock! We have visited this Einstein's several times since they opened, and the food is always great. Tasty bagels and schmears in a variety of flavors... what's not to love? Service was a bit spotty at the opening, but that was mostly due to over-eager staff. Before my coffee I don't always appreciate the loud greeting when I walk in the door and I often need a few minutes to decide on my order, so their enthusiasm when they first opened was a little off-putting. However on the more recent visits I've found they've relaxed a little and quit trying so hard, which makes this a much nicer visit. Employees have always been friendly and attentive, so I have no idea what's up with the other reviews. Bottom line: It's an Einstein's. You can expect it to be like most of the other Einstein's. Consistent, tasty food served with hot coffees and friendly service. I like it.

Terrible customer service!!! My mom and I went into Einsteins for dinner not knowing that they closed at 5pm, we ordered our food and sat down and two minutes later we were told that we had to leave. When we asked if we could just finish our food the kid told us no, that we had to get out right then and the proceeded to tell us that it was our fault for not checking the time on the door but not everyone would guess that they close so early. That was a bad first impression but we decided to give it another shot only to be even more disappointed. My mom ordered a panini that ended up having a rubber band inside of it, when she brought it up to the assistant manager all he said was "We'll make you a new one." No apology, no explanation, he didn't even look surprised. We decided just to ask for a refund and take our business to Firehouse Subs next door, who by the way have AWESOME customer service and food. A much better choice for anyone in the area.

I used to go to this location all the time when I lived nearby and it was excellent. I never had one problem in all of my visits. Recently the service level has taken a total turnaround for the worse. My last visit has now become my last at this location. I recently went in and purchased a Bagel 13 pack which was on sale for $6. I also purchased one bagel with cream cheese to have at the restaurant. The bagels were to be sliced. I also had a coupon for a free cup of coffee. I received the bagel pack and waited for my bagel with cream cheese.....for 25 minutes! Then, when I was rung up, my total was $15.63. I said there is no way that a bagel with cream cheese could be $9.00, since the bagel pack was $6. The counter person had no clue how to fix whatever he did. He said that he fixed it, but he never did as my charge account statement reflected the original incorrect charge. It was mass chaos behind the counter, with burning bagels and total confusion on the employee's part. Customers were getting angry and walking out. My bagel with cream cheese was burned to a crisp. Although my coffee was free with a coupon, it did me no good because all of the coffee dispensers were either filled with cold coffee or empty. When I got home, I found that the bagels were never sliced. I wrote a note about this fiasco on their website, and in about a week the store manager from Castle Rock called me. He apologized and seemed sincere, and was supposed to correct the issue. I've waited and waited over a month but the problem was never fixed. So, I now had to dispute this charge with my credit card company. Stay away unless you like burned food and have a lot of time to waste.

I've never written a review in my life but this place takes the cake for an F rating...if the staff is not rude they are total caveman imbecils that have no training whatsoever on how to do a simple job...they messed up my order almost every time and the last time I waited 20 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese on the side and lox on the side. Then when I was upset when I was leaving I heard the idiot that waited on me say and don't come back. I tryed to talk to the manager who wouldn't even come out but if he had, he wouldn't of cared, because their managers are just to stupid and rude. instead of apologizing for messing up my order for three times they tell one of their best customers to never come back. They have this lowlife girl there than never smiles and when I called her out on it she said it was because she was pregnant. This place is an udder joke if I could get have given it no stars I would've....stay away!

Had breakfast there with my kids, if you like microwave food then this is the place to eat breakfast. Bagels are good not great.
(2)

Stopped in for bagels for the kids and grabbed a cup of coffee for myself. Worst coffee imaginable. And it was scalding hot, so I couldn't drink it until I got to work 20 minutes late. What a disappointment. Thankfully, Lost Coffee is so close that next time I want bagels for the kids, I'm making two stops.

From the day this location opened I have driven through so many times I lost count. Sometimes they have messed up my order but mostly have been pretty good. Last week is the last time I will go there. On Mar 31 I ordered a 1/2 dr with a tub of CC uncut bagels. They handed me the bag and off I went, I was on a conf call at the time and when I opened the bag at home the bagels were cut and no CC. I figured no big deal I would let them know the next time I drove through. I was super slammed that day! I went to drive through 2 days later and asked them to add the extra missing tub, the manager met me at the window and told me that because I didn't call or tell them at the time he wasn't going to do anything. Totally rude! I called customer service and someone was supposed to call me back...no one ever did. They don't give a darn apparently!

Great bagels ...plenty of variety. Now stop by at least once a week for my tuna fish bagel sandwich ... and grab a few different bagels to freeze and eat at home for breakfast. Outstanding! Service friendly and efficient. Looking fwd to trying their blt and their grilled cheese ... but addicted to their tuna fish Welcome to Castle Rock Einsteins

I LOVE bagels and this place does have some good ones, but the staff is incompetent. I've had to return bags back through the window. They almost every single time screw up my order. I thought this last order was right! But instead of onion bagels 1/2 dozen they gave me Garlic! At least they sliced them like I asked. (Rarely happens) I hope that with time the staff will just get better... My advice, check your order before you leave the window! The coffee is terrible and they don't know how to make it. If you want it toasted they have the toaster set so low that it's cold when you get it. Enjoy!

Woman at drive through window made me wait at the screen for 10minutes before taking my order. Instead of taking my order while getting the food ready for the car in front of me I waited till they had gotten their food. I ordered and had to wait at the pick up window. Whole process should have taken max 5 minutes but instead I waited 15 minutes for one bagel with cream cheese. Last time I will be going to this location. Learn how to multitask and have respect for your customers time!

The Einstein Bagels store in Castle Rock is a delight. It's light and airy with inviting seating areas and even a place with plug-ins to park & work on the computer. So glad to have a bagel place in Castle Rock (one gets tired of the ubiquitous breakfast burritos elsewhere). I would probably continue to get my specialty coffee drinks at Lost Coffee next door or Crowfoot Coffee in downtown Castle Rock. So glad to have the whole area get some stores and services. The orthodontist next door to Einstein Bagels is excellent, BTW. Highly recommend him as well!

I gotta be brutally honest about this place. I do a bagel run for the wife and kids here almost every day because it's my only bagel/coffee option near me. The staff is friendly but almost none of them seem to know what they're doing. But sort of in a cute funny way. It's because most of the morning staff are seniors.....which is cool with me......except they all seem to be confounded by the cash register system and how to say "macchiato" and you WILL have to repeat your order 7-8 times. But hey. They're old and they're serving impatient yuppie suburban tailgating assholes all morning....so I give em a break. Fair warning: you will stand there for a few awkward minutes while they figure your order out and all angry eyes are on the back of your head. Do not try the drive through option in peak periods if you're in a rush. You'll be late and your asshole boss doesn't need anymore ammo to fire you. So yeah. I like this Einstein.

I love their coffee but the lady who works the drive-thru window in the morning is TERRIBLE! She is short and rude and then tries to make up for it by calling you sweetie, which is an insult.
